I completed this project for my kitchen and bath design class. The professor wanted each of us to design a different kitchen, so I turned to my grandparents. Their house is the hub for most family gatherings, so my grandma uses the kitchen a lot. There are a lot of grandkids that run throughout the house so safety, durability, and efficiency were key for this design. There is a need for a lot of storage in the room, so a large utility closet was important. I didn't change the overall layout too much, but I did move the stove in so it was not on the end of a cabinet run and I swapped the utility cabinet and refrigerator to allow for more efficiency.
